INX K2fly is now Quartex: ready to help high-risk industry Run Every Site Right
The integration of WA-based software duo INX Software and K2fly is complete, with the business rebadging as Quartex as it gears up for international expansion.
After nine months as INX K2fly, the Accel-KKR-backed software major has launched a unified brand, positioning itself as a global leader in workforce management, health & safety, governance, risk & compliance and disclosure solutions for asset-intensive industries.
Quartex CEO Craig Charlton said the business had taken the time to engage with its customer base, which include many of the world’s biggest and most complex mining operations, before confirming its strategic direction.
“Our customers work in the world of high-stakes mistakes,” Mr Charlton said.
“A missed flight, or an injury on site, a breach of permit or a worker who can’t work — those are risks that add up quickly.
“One small error can impact their workforce, their production, their community, or their licence to operate.

Mr Charlton said the 250-worker software business was committed to keeping its base in Western Australia, home to many of its global clients.
“Our business began as INX Software in Perth more than 25 years ago, when we were still seeing multi-million-dollar projects running off Excel spreadsheets,” he said.
“When we merged last year with K2fly, we were joining forces with another innovative Perth business who shared our commitment to servicing high-risk industry, backed by our global investor.
“We see this as the best place to be as we grow a business that helps asset-intensive industries move and manage their people safely while protecting their licence to operate.”
